Spontaneous recovery occurs when a previously extinguished behavior rears its ugly head. Just when you think that you’ve eliminated a behavior, it shows up again out of nowhere! This behavior can sometimes be brought on by stress. Do not reward the behavior and it will quickly disappear again for the long-term.
